2023 - 2024: The Beyond The Screen: Hackathon, the follow-up of the Ideation Challenge held in 2022, was a collaborative initiative by People's Association (PA), Jurong Town Corporation (JTC), Target Media Culcreative Pte. Ltd. (TMCC), and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

The main goal of this collaborative effort is to unite aspiring post-secondary students along with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to leverage on digital technology and create a significant advancement in how we interact and connect with communities in Singapore.

By transitioning to digital platforms and welcoming new ideas, and recognizing the urgent requirement for a transformation in community communication, participants have developed a fresh strategy for delivering compelling and informative content to a broader audience. This has been achieved by transforming PA noticeboards into digital screens, thereby fostering stronger community bonds. We've found a breakthrough! - The Winning Solution

One notable solution developed during the hackathon was presented by a group of ambitious students from the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Their innovative approach involved the use of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanners for tailored content delivery, immediate analytics for user engagement assessment, and a robust content management system. These functionalities cater to advertisers by improving campaign monitoring capabilities while simultaneously enhancing user interaction and customization.
